Our longstanding principal is leaving our school at the end of term 3. We are looking for an Acting Principal for term 4 while we recruit a permanent principal.
We want someone who can come in and hit the ground running. The role is for term four only and we want every day to count. You will have done the prep and research, be familiar with our Hora Hora Strategic Plan and the 2024 Annual Implementation. You will lead the school to the end of the year ensuring that the school, staff and community finish the year well.
As our relieving principal, we’ll expect you to be up-to-date in educational research, including teaching and learning theory. Our students want to see you in their classrooms, supporting and fostering both them and their teachers in their pursuit of excellence.
We are also looking for someone with excellent organisation and communication skills. Clear communication with the staff team, students and community is imperative. A strong Hora Hora School team with staff, students, school board and community members working together for a shared purpose is our goal.
