Teacher, Year 3 to Year 5

I settled in Cambridge around 4 years ago with my husband, two children and our dog Comet. Before arriving in Cambridge, we spent a couple of years living in the UK where we were able to indulge our love of travel. Living so close to Europe we made the most of our time, visiting as many places as we could.

Prior to teaching at Horahora I taught for several years across a range of levels, most recently at Cambridge East School. Horahora is a breath of fresh air, with a beautiful environment, caring staff, and children. I feel lucky to be teaching here.

My favourite areas to teach are Literacy, Maths, Science and Music. I have worked hard over the last couple of years to develop my knowledge around Structured Literacy and am currently studying and practising towards my accreditation with the Australian Dyslexic Association.
