Principal's Message

Kia ora koutou,

It is a privilege and a joy to serve as the Principal of Horahora School. I bring close to a decade of leadership experience across a range of educational settings, most recently working alongside teams of teachers and students in primary and middle school environments. I also hold a Master of Educational Leadership, gained with First Class Honours, which reflects my commitment to thoughtful leadership and ongoing learning.

What excites me most about education is the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, staff, and whānau. I believe schools thrive when they are grounded in a strong sense of community, where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected. At Horahora School, we work together to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels a true sense of belonging.

I am passionate about ensuring our students experience learning that is engaging, meaningful, and challenging in the best possible way. We want our learners to be curious, confident, and resilient young people who are proud of who they are and excited about their futures.
